During the first week of the month, Ms Horváth visited EFSA’s headquarters in Parma, Italy. This EU agency is dedicated to providing scientific advice to protect European consumers from food-related risks. EFSA is proud to have a language policy that ensures transparent communication not only with its scientific stakeholders, but also the general public. At the Centre, we are delighted to see how our fellow EU agencies are highly aware of the importance of clear and effective communication, taking this opportunity to cooperate and provide them with our language services.
Towards the end of the month, Ms Horváth was hosted by eu-LISA in Tallinn, Estonia. The core mission of this agency is to add value continuously to Member States, leveraging technology to support their efforts in creating a safer Europe. It provides high-quality efficient services and solutions, aligns the capabilities of technology with the evolving needs of the European Union and its Member States, and acts as a hub of knowledge in driving digital transformation in the Justice and Home Affairs domain.
To convey the purpose of the Centre and its language services effectively, and keep our fellow colleagues at the forefront of our newest enhancements, our Director provided the attendees with detailed information about the latest technological advancements developed by the Centre.
These exchanges are a good opportunity for the heads of EU agencies, along with other representatives, to gather and discuss the different ways in which the Centre can support these agencies in addressing their potential language needs through our services. We believe that these visits serve as an efficient way of placing the Centre as a partner of excellence in multilingualism for the EU Agencies, fostering cooperation in the future.
